Frame Question

JP_Furble said:
Does anyone have any experience with Jule Enterprises frames? What can you tell me about them?

Thanks,
JPF

Hi JPF Yes many on the forum have used this high quality frame. In the archives you can find testimony as to the product quality and the support of the owner.--Fwiw--Keoke- /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cowboy.gif

Thanks Keoke. I just bought a BJ7 two weeks ago that another gentleman had begun the restoration on. It has a Jule frame which appears to be a very nice piece of work. I was just curious how the various parts that attach to the frame would mount. Should I expect alignment problems? Problems with holes matching up? Things like that. But it is comforting to know that Jule is highly thought of.

Hi JPF thanks for posting. It is critical to get the pieces welded in properly. If it were me I'd send the frame and donor car/chassis back to JULE and have them complete the frame/chassis rebuild. If you talk nice they might just trade you a completed chassis/frame for yours plus a little $$$.

Johnny,

That is indeed what the PO did. The frame was built by Jule and shipped to him as a complete unit. Very little of the original chassis was retained as I understand. I've been trying to get onto Jule's website hoping to see some pictures of their facility and process, but it is "under construction" at the moment. So I thought I'd see what you all had to say about them.

JPF,
I have a Jule frame on my BJ7. I've been to Martin Jensen's shop a few times. Shoot me a PM if you like. I may be able to answer some Q's.
