Anyone going to the Fox Lake British Car Show
Titusville Fl. on Sept 20th?
3 cars (incl 2 V8's) are driving down from Atlanta and stopping over in St Augustine, Thursday night, anyone else going our way?
Regards
Mike Cook

I sent in my registration Monday, I hope they have a big turn out. I have a 1960 MGA black with red interior in need of a restoration. But it runs and this will be its longest trip from home. I live in Port Orange and plan on driving down US 1. So if you go south on US 1 and see me on the side of the road, please stop

What are you going to be driving?

Hey, I live 20 miles from Titusville. How do I find the show?

Mike...that's the same day as the 2003 Trail of Tears Motorcycle Ride in remembrance of the trials & tribulations of our Native American forefathers....they're expecting 100,000 motorcycles to take part...I'm riding for my great grandmother whose parents were killed while attempting to return from the reservation in Oklahoma....bet I'll have the only Norton!

Sorry that it took so long for me to get back to you but I have been out of town. I will be driving the Silver Lady V8, the other cars will be a 1980 3.5 V8 and a 1970 B. We should be on US1 approx midday Friday. Thursday night we are stopping over in St Augustine.
Look forward to meeting you. Hope the weather is good for the show.

I'll be there - probably taking the backroads to 415 the US1 from NSB south - or maybe I95, haven't decided.

Tom you'll have to get your MGA "restored" and drive it up Mike's way for the spring Atlanta show. It's a fun drive if you take all the backroads up to Braselton GA. Took me a little over 9 hours taking 441 and 129.

Mike, I was there at the Fox Lake show and talked to you briefly. I took 4 photos of the Silver Lady. I'm sure you have plenty but if you want them, I can send them via email.
She looks better in person than any photo can show.

Bob.
Thank you for the kind words about the Silver Lady. There were some other great V8's at the show, each one a little bit different than the next, a little bit of originality never hurts on a modified. I would love to see the pic's that you took of the car. Got back Sunday about 6.00pm after stopping off at St Simons Island for a few hours. The show surprised me by the lack of makes like Lotus, Rover, Austin etc. Had a great time all the same, but God it was hot!
