Alpines are tough to value, because they were always a bit less desirable than MGBs, TR4s etc. Even though they are rarer than MGBs, they don't seem to command the same value. Nevertheless, they are nice cars and are every bit as good as any other classic Brit sports car when used as a fun street-cruiser.
I think an early unmolested Alpine in "very good shape" might be worth around $2500 to $5000 USD. If it's "concourse", it could be worth as much as $7,000 to $10,000. An average "driver" needing some cosmetics and minor mechanical work might be worth about $1500 to $2500. A complete non-running "project" car might be worth $100 to $600.
Of course, I'm not including transport costs from Alaska to the lower 48.....that could a pretty big number. Maybe you can sneak it into that Fokker!
Bruce is probably factoring in the transportation costs from Alaska to Bonaire! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif
