Found a car, any cross country drivers out there?

I found a car, but it's in Phoenix, I'm in Tennessee. It does not run and the brakes don't work. Anyone driving across the country with an empty trailer? Shipping is twice what it would be for a runner, 4000 miles is a little far to go, that's $1000 in gas. If someone was going down I-40 or I-10 I'd meet them.

I'm thinking of openning a shelter for Triumphs. You know, like they do for pets. I live on the east end of the Phoenix area near US 60. I could keep the car for a while, if that would help, until a trailer is found. If it is a TR4 that would be free storage. Actually it would be free anyway. I do have a trailer that will carry an Spitfire or TR3. I'm not sure a bigger car fits.

Yes, it is an expensive proposition now. On the other hand, a great way to see the country. If you can get away in the next few weeks, it will cool enough here.
T.T.

I'd like to look it over, get it driveable and drive it home! I may take you up on your offer.
