I'm more or less back from a brief sabbatical over the Christmas holiday. Its easier for me just to say thanks here for all the Christmas wishes and support for the (necessary) move. I do appreciate all the support and wanted to bring you up to date on the forum move. If you have not already seen it, check out This Thread for details on the upcoming move to a new forum software. The one update is that I hope to do it the weekend before the New Year instead of waiting until the 6th.
The default "skin" or style that most will see when we make the move is very similar to the "Deser-Sand" style I use here. If you go to "My Home" then "Display Preferences" you can preview that style. I will have a couple of other styles to choose from but probably everyone will initially be set to use the default style once the move is completed.
I will have most of the links that are on the current (old) but a few things may take a few extra days to get fully integrated. For example, the member's picture gallery may not yet be online, but I'm pretty sure that I'll have the Classifieds ready. Speaking of clasifieds, I have taken them off like here because of the need to integrate them with teh new forum. I know that a coupld of folks snuck in some new ads while I was doing some work on teh old classifieds, but you will need to re-upload those ads once the move is made (sorry) Basically I've had to completely remake what took 6 years to build and do it in a matter of a couple of months, so there are bound to be a few things that will still need to be done.
