There has been a Huge shake up in F1.

Lewis Hamilton will continue his fight for the 2007 Formula 1 World Championship but his team, McLaren-Mercedes, have been stripped of their points and fined a record $100million for their part in the Ferrari spy scandal.

Wow, $100m two years earnings. They must have really caught McLaren with their pants around the ankles.

At least we still get to see Fernando and Lewis duke it out for the championship.

Holy smokes...

But it's good that they're letting Hamilton continue the title fight. So far it's been the most interesting driver's fight in years.

True talent, Hamilton. Reminds me of Senna in a few ways.

Yes, but after last weekend I am seeing a bit of Mansell in the future. IMHO this kid is ready to explode. Heck he has already won the kitty fight with Alonso.

Seems like the next lion is in the den.

So....do you think Hamilton is about ready for NASCAR?!

(Rick ducks and leaves the forum)

Both Hamilton and Alonzo are great, but has McLaren lost their competitive edge now that they have been caught?? Will they still be able to keep up? Too bad Ferrari didn't wise up to it sooner and just feed them a few red herrings!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

I agree but , if the rumor is true that Alonso was "blackmailing" McLaren, a new opinion we must.

gb1, the hundred million means nothing, his real broblem will begin late one evening when "guido" shows up. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/yesnod.gif

Anthony, that maybe backwards since Ferrari has got the constructor's championship in the bag now.

I am curious as to why Ron is letting him drive this weekend hmmm /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

More to the point...Is NASCAR ready for a Hamilton? He has the ability to succeed what ever he decided to drive, methinks!!! He has a looong career in F1 with that talent!!

PS: I didn't hear the bit about Alonzo's blackmail!!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif
