We spent some time driving around San Francisco on New Years Day.
We drove down Lombard Street............and then we drove down Vermont Street!
Steeper,with more curves (between 20th & 22nd streets).
We drove around some interesting streets,& I kept thinking about the
chase scene in "Bullitt".Good thing I wasn't driving a Mustang.

I did Lombard in.....1970 in my 1950 Ford.
Big wheel, manual steering, I didn't do it fast, that's fer sure!

We flew to SF last spring so no driving. I was very impressed with the public transportation. Bart from airport, almost wherever you are there is a bus stop nearby that shows the minutes till the next one gets there. I got up early every morning and did a couple laps on the trolly cars. New Years day would be a good day to drive around, everyone in bed still coming to.
