Ford Truck Help??

I'm putting new bearings in my F-250 steering column. There is a "bearing retainer ie: thrust washer" that's sort of cone shaped with a flat ring on the larger end. A spring guide with a flat end goes against it and then the spring and snap ring. QUESTION IS: Does the small end of the cone go INTO the bearing? Hope someone knows. Thanks.

Gary

Thanks but, never mind...we figured it out and it works great!!

Yes.

We used to use those parts to "upgrade" the hard rubber column bushings in much older Fords.
