Well, he's at the head of the bay & will be on the bad side of the winds & water....so, he's gonna get slammed big time! Galveston is already getting storm surges that are going over their 17' sea wall & the storms still way out in the Gulf!

Ike is big and not moving fast as of yet It does not look good the longer he hangs a round it will distroy a lot of stuff.

He is the head maintance guy at one of the oil refineries so maybe he has no choice. shrug.

My co-worker told me this morning he heard on the news that they are telling people that if they haven't left yet to stay home and dig in. God speed and God bless to them all.

Obviously the first concern is for human life, Leo and his family...BUT, I also hope he is able to get that Bugeye out of harm's way. He put body and soul into that car!

Ray

still recall touring Post Katrina and seeing various classic cars heaped on one another. A 50's vette lying upside down comes to mind - sad to see even though it did show their priorities were right

Leo just emailed that all is fine so far and they are hunkered down.

Jack - to be perfectly clear ... you *always* have a choice.
No company, anywhere, is worth your life.

I am a licensed massage therapist and certified by FEMA as an Emergency Response Massage International provider. We come in to provide relief to the emergency crews helping the survivors and the rescue efforts. I am praying our group doesn't get called. Many of us were involved with the relief efforts post 9-11 and Katrina.
