Looked like a vinyl/cloth setup. The only thing I didn't like about the show was hiding the rust or repaired rust in the doglegs with the chrome panels.
And they reused the ugly rusty old lug nuts! But still the car looked great when they finished. I couldn't believe the price for that paint job. Only ÂŁ1000! That's about $1600! And they thought that was a lot money. Granted he did a lot of the prep work before he took it to the the paint shop, but I doubt you could get a decent professional paint job here in the states for anywhere near that cheap.
saw that... And yeah, like all of you, I couldn't believe they didn't replace the center caps, and reused the ugly old lug nuts; two of the cheaper replacement items. They certainly wouldn't have cut that much into their profits.
Ah well, I guess that's how it goes when you buy a car just to flip it though...
It was wierd that they didn't replace the center caps and nuts. The paint job though.........I can't believe the price. I paid $1100 for mine in 1994 and I bet they did not do as good of a job as in this show. For 2008/09 standards that is a steal.
