Last Sat was the Mahi tourney.
Firday night spent rigging ballyhoo and
prepping Mateo's 23 Mako and gear. RULE from Dale-
no drinking Friday night, in bed by 10:00 PM and
up at 4:00 AM. Meet at marina at 6:00 AM with Mateo's
23' Mako rigged and ready to head out 30 miles.

Mission accomplished but at at about 17 miles out,
Tito notices raw fuel flowing up thru the tank cover.
We pull the cover and tank top is flooded with raw fuel.

We pulled off everything electrical except one engine spark plug. We limped back to the marina and ended up having to
call for a tow, while standing ankle deep in raw fuel.
No way I wanted ANY electrical flow while standing in raw fuel.

In truth, my experience repairing my broken down, bucket of
bolts TR6 with worn out, leaky fuel system probably saved our lives this past Saturday.

well Dale, if all that time and $$$ dumped into the TR6 just saved your life, I'd call it well spent.
