I'll ask Banjos forgivness now before I submit the following?.... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
The other night about 10 ish - I was tooling down the main drag at about 35 mph (the posted speed limit BTW) when I see this Jeep coming up on my arse at warp speed! Now I’m in the right hand lane so I figure this guy’ll just go around me. Well he does but not before trying to crawl up my lower intestine. Then flashes his high beams on me just as he whips into the left hand lane to pass.
“What a Butt Wipe” I say under my breath….. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif
Well a couple blocks later I see the Jeep up ahead stopped at a red light. I approach the intersection just as the light turns green and simply roll through the light. But just as I pass him on my left I hear the Jeep un-windings for all he’s got to try & catch me. But I’m in second gear & leave him behind without even trying. Again I never exceed the speed limit.
A block later we come to another red light. While we’re sitting at the light the guy is bugging me lurching his Jeep in an obvious attempt to goat me. Its at this point I’m starting to think that this guy is either drunk or a total retard!
Knowing that I only have to go about a half block to my destination I decide that I’ll give him a show. I didn’t rev the engine & pop the clutch – to do so would have been over kill and cause undue stress on my 30 year old Shark. So instead I put her in first and when the light changes to green I gently roll into the accelerator as I ease off the clutch. To my left the Jeep is has all his little squirrels under the hood screaming. But even with all that posturing & noise on his part my loyal shark blew his doors off sitting at the light.
Total destruction achieved and I never even broke a sweat or the tires loose. That and I never even exceed the posted speed limit. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif
I don't for the life of know what this guy was thinking but like I said Jeep folks are funny. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif
