Fog Lamp Bulbs

One of the bulbs in my TR-7 Spiders' fog lamps burned out when I shorted it against the lamp body while trying to get it to work...Hmmmm...

They appear to be a Philips bulb #12311 or #36. There's a metal clip built into the bulb so it has to be that bulb or an identical unit. Does anyone know where I can get one?

Thanks,

Jeff,

I checked the Philips data base for both numbers and neither one weems to be current. If you are able to send a picture and any other markings on the bulb, (wattage would also be helpful) I would be happy to track down the current number. Also, (and maybe just as easy) take the "dead soldier" to your local auto parts store and show it to them. They may have one on the shelf.

Steve and Dave,

I did take it to one auto parts store, an Auto Zone, and they had nothing like it.

But Don's bulbs - what a perfect match. The moment the same bulb is used on a Lexus - the price goes way up!

Thanks for the help. If I can't find it locally on the mainland, I will contact Don's Bulbs.

Best wishes,
