what is the easiest way to change
the water in my 74 midget?
my haynes is useless!
i cant seem to find a drain plug
and i dont want to remove my thermostat
as i dont have a new gasket yet.....
any ideas?...thanks guys........zimmy

ps..any of you in the British Iron Club of Arkansas?

Can always take the lower radiator hose loose.

Some of them have a plug in the center of the crossover tube (the thing by your sterring rack) facing the front of the car (access from below). If you jack up the rear of the car, the bulk of the coolant will drain out.

I think they eliminated the rack tube drain hole to save a buck per car in the early 70s.
So you have to pull off one of the hoses.
