Fluid on mat under peddles

I notice a bit of clear fluid on floor mat under peddles. Is this a sign of trouble?

It's probably the brake master leaking. See if the brake fluid has been going down. You can look up at the top of the pedal shaft where the rod goes through a black rubber boot. The boot is probably wet. Another unusual cause could be the heater pipe inside the dash rusting through.

Phil.
