Doc, how are you and the Mrs doing? How are our members in general doing? Hope all are making it through the mess ok! PJ

We are now in The Villages and got to experience our first hurricane. Ian took a turn and when south of us so we lucked out. Moderate wind and rain overnight with more of the same this morning. The southwest coast got hammered.

We're finally up-and-running, had a couple days without power but a "Bernz-O-Matic" and a saucepan on hand to heat pre-made coffee, a Weber charcoal grill for the meals after the storm made it livable here. Some downed limbs and debris to clean up after, all now curbside for pickup.

Poor folks south of us took the full impact. No telling what the final numbers will be.

I just saw today that Dale "Tinster" Todd and his wife Wendy made it through okay. They lost power in Tampa for about 18 hours, but Dale had enough bottled oxygen to get through the time.
