Would anyone know an online, or Windows compatible program which allows designing a floorplan? Things like length, width, window placement, door placement, joist centers, stud placement, electrical outlets, lights, workbench, etc.?

I don't need "elevation" - just floor plan.

Thanks.
Tom

I would use Draft Sight which is identical to AutoCAD Light.

You can get it ~HERE~

This is ordinary 2D CAD software. Works nicely. If you are looking for actual drawing files or "blocks" with floorplans in them, you can find some ~HERE~

Draftsight can open any ordinary ".dwg" or ".dxf" file format, so there are lot of other choices for blocks.
