I got one in the El Camino if you want to come over and see it.
I'm home most days.

Dave

And with all th' controls now mounted on/around/behind the wheel, I'm as likely to downshift and over-rev a "new" car as signal a turn, mute the radio or dim the headlights.

My 49 Willys has one.....used to have a floor-mounted starter pedal....my 50 Tudor and F-1 have floor-mounted dimmers....the Jag has one.....

The Jag has power discs...something I don't usually use.....and a turn-signal-arm "flash-to-pass", and the other cars don't.

However:

They ALL have pushbutton starters!

My Midget has one. I still miss three speed column shifts... Hmmmmmmmmmm

I drive the BN4 or the sprites almost every day, unless it's snowing or raining, so I'm not used to anything but floor mounted dimmers :driving:

Your telling your age now! :jester: PJ

Ouch!!

i was just driving home the other night- seem to be doing the dark driving thing quite a bit lately (darn time change) and seems like i just had to keep picking my hand up to that multi function switch to dip my beams. Guess i had a moment of nostalgia. That and i just cant figure out why the got away from them. Tween The radio, wipers, texting and trying to keep from spilling my coffee I really had my hands full... :jester:

You really didn't say " texting", did you? Tsk, tsk.
