Floating Healey

[ QUOTE ]
I seem to recall someone being a Healey boat afficionado. Thought that you might want to take a look at this... https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...A%3AIT&rd=1

Interesting yes, but not very correct and the quality of the work also looks questionable. Also significantly overpriced.

If anyone is sincerely interested in buying a VERY, VERY nice and very correct Healey boat, I can recommend:
Healey Boat For Sale. Beautiful and already in the USA.

(I have no financial or other connection to the sale of this boat.)

reid,i agree with your assesment of the work that was done on the boat in question, not very correct, perhaps at one third the asking price it might be something to begin a project on.however the the pics.of the boat you put up are that of a magnificant example of nautical beauty and would be well worth the asking price.having owned my first boat at 11 years of age,ive repaired, and build several wooden and glass boats so i kinda know my way around them, the $22,500 is exactly what i payed for my 63 bj7 this past may 12th,it happens to have been my birthday, and id love to own the 'healey boat'but if i brought home this 'beauty' i dont know how many more birthdays id be able to experiance, well my wife and all you know what i mean? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Yes, I know what you mean. I got married when I was a few days short of my 32nd birthday, and so having gained all of those years of adulthood experience in observing others before getting married myself, I was wise enough to stipulate to my bride-to-be that the cars are going to remain a big part of my life, even after marriage. As I told my wife, I will never place an ad that begins, "Marriage forces sale of..." I'm still Healeying aplenty... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif
