Flex brake line to rear axle

I purchased some stainless steel flex lines for my '68. I noted that there is an end with a long threaded fitting, and an end with a short fitting.

For the life of me I cannot figure out which went to the "T" on the rear axle, and which connects to the hardline from the front of the car.

If I had to guess, short end on the "T", long end on the hardline from the front?

Yup. "Long" end allows you to affix the fitting to the "holder" on the chassis with a nut.

Ah, so that's what that "extra" nut was for...

Thanks Doc!
