Just returned from a 150 mile round trip drive in my 6.
Perfect top down weather... blue skies and puffy clouds.
I've never been more than 20-30 miles away in my car, but this morning I got up and said today is the day. Drove 75 miles to the gliderport just on the other side of Gettysburg, PA and back. Lots of fun!

Excellent!

I drove 90 miles (each way) yesterday in my MGB to visit my Dad (that's when I took the photo of the plane in "Spotted").

And I never go anywhere without some positive comments. I bet that's true for many of us.

A large guy with a huge beard in a pickup truck told me my car looked great.
Another guy driving by gave me thumbs up and yelled "Nice!"
An attractive blond woman riding a new Triumph 865 motorcycle pulled up next to me in heavy traffic and said "Great MG!" (this is New Jersey, so naturally she was wearing high heels).

It's great to drive these cars! (although I'll admit, I needed a few hours of recovery afterwords)

Right you are Nial... I get those comments and "thumbs-up" signs all the time. Lots of "I had one and sold it".
My favorite comment that I got was from a lady who parked next to me and said "nice Mercedes"... I said "thank you" and never corrected her.

Not today :cryin:
