Sorry for duplicate but thought this might get lost at end of "finish" thread and should be seen by anyone contemplating new grill. Moss grill put in and found to leave a 1/2" gap between chrome surround and top of grill for about the center foot of grill. Took it out and put in old one and fit just fine. Took old one out and took comparison measurements, "teeth" same size, but top mounting tabs, the two along top and about 4" in from each side do not have a hole but a slot so tab slides up against mounting stud. These tabs were shorter than original. So I filed the bottom of the slot down as far as seemed right without make tab sides flimsy. Grill put back in, making sure to have it all way up so stud against bottom of slot. Now have about an 1/8 in gap. Also out at sides, along bottom, for about final 4" the teeth are about 1/2 in from the surround, not flush against it. Fellow at Moss very helpful along way and even when I first noticed the gap, he suggested I look at mouting tabs as source of trouble. Have pics, could not get to insert in message, but happy to send, email me at TazioNuv@aol.com.
