Guys - is this correct radiator extension to use mount a front sway bar on the TR4A? I don't think so but I wanted to double check.

Also, now would be the time to change the steering rack bushings to poly, yes?

Thanks!

What front sway bar are you planning on using? I installed a used TR6 sway bar and radiator shield on mine.

Looks like TRF has the complete TR6 front sway bar on sale through April 22 for $99.93 (RFK130) or with urethane bushings (RFK130/U) for $184.99 through June 20. You just need to find a TR6 radiator shield.

Thanks Scott.

In theory I have a TR6 sway bar and radiator shield laying around somewhere, so that would be the plan. Thanks for the TRF link, what is what got me thinking about it actually, and I'll need some bits.

Does the existing radiator shield just unbolt.

Sure does which is what makes adding the TR6 sway bar an easy upgrade.

Looking at your picture, I think the top bolt is shared with the bumper support bracket so you'll have to at least loosen that as well. Sorry I can't be more specific but it's been a long time since I did mine.

Thanks guys.

Anyone know if the poly rack mount bushings have a slit in them so they'll slide over the rack to ease mounting?
