This is a kinda survey:

Is there any real interest in my fishing reports and
photos of beach stuff among the hard core car buffs?

If not, I'll suspend the thread.

Dale, I enjoy them !

> ...as long as they dont stink!

Yes. Please don't post any "scratch and sniff" photos here.

They fit right in here along with some of the other "fish tales" posted, Dale!!!

It is the Pub for crying out loud! Is there really a difference between car talk and fish stories, or car talk and model trains, or car talk and airplanes, or car talk and food? Just about anything manly is a go between mates. Ops, er, I forgot about the ladies on this forum. Now what was I saying....

<span style="color: #990000">Here's a couple of tasty Wahoo that got away
from me more than once. My buddy Ramon is the Wahoo expert
and that's a mighty nice 60 pounder the lads are holding.
A total of 6 landed. Some mighty fine wahoo steaks in the
freezer as I type this. 20 miles outside - south side of the island.

My Tarpon fishing on the north coast on hold until the bad
weather you guys from the northeast send down our way.
10' to 14' foot seas locally my area.

Very nice! But that's a lot of fish to eat...

James, Wahoo is a wonderful flavorful fish. Ramon's crew has a contract
with local restaurants to supply any extra fish. It helps pay for fuel.
Usually one of two are kept for family consumption.

I trade yellowfin Tuna and Snook to Ramon for wahoo.

A deal for both.

<span style="color: #990000">OK- Salt water fishing class 101: My boat
is 90% catch and release - we keep a few small tuna to eat.

This is about a 60# Wahoo - a big-un

This is about a 40# yellowfin tuna - average for here
