First shop purchase

While we decide which direction to go in, build or buy, I made my first purchase dedicated to the new shop. I took my wife and her sister to an estate sale yesterday and stumbled upon a 10' x 30" x3" hard maple work table made by a company names 'Boos'. It's in good shape and included a mounted vise as well as a steel leg base along with a 4 drawer under cabinet. It took 4 people to load it and it was cheap! I love the maple butcher block construction and it should be very durable.

Oh yeah...that should make a great workbench. Mine are made of 2X12's covered with tin. Along with a welding table with vise made of 3 3x12 channel irons. Course it was a farm shop before a sporty car shop!:D

Very nice. The first step on the way back.
