Pushed it out of the garage, did a little PMCS, turned the key, let the fuel pump prime and it started right up.

Here are the lingering problems, the pop up lights just stopped working and refuse to start to work again. I have the wiring diagram and am working it, I do not have much faith in my ability to solve this issue. I have a vibrations when between 35 and 55. I am ordering new poly subframe mounts and then if that does not do it I am taking it to my favorite alignment shop.

Here is the new issue, my fuse for the passanger side lights keeps blowing. I need to find out what all is on that circuit and track it down. Does anyone know if the tail light is on the same circuit as the side lights?

Over all I am very pleased with the 8, love that V8 rumble.... not hard to tell spring is here with all the post popping up all of a sudden

The front side marker lights, front bumper marker lights, rear side marker lights and tail lights are all on the same circuit.

You know that after over a decade of Wedge owership on ewould think I have overcome any issues a wedge and lucas may throuw at me and yet every year my Wedge finds a new issue or crisis to challenge me with. I am glad I have so many BCF advisors to help me with these issues

I know what you mean. I have had British since 1986 with a MGB-GT and my first Wedgie, besides in school was in 1990.....so 52 british cars later.....nothing is taken for granted!

Isn't it a great feeling to finally get the car going?

REgarding the vibes, try the cheap/easy first: get the wheels/tires balanced. Out of balance wheels can feel like the whole suspension is failing.

Let us know . . .

The front vibe is not tires or rims, I had my 14 inch panasports (did I mention these are for sale?) and Yokohama's both balanced and it did not fix it then I went to a set of 15 inch with Kuhmo's. Still there. All the ball joints and tie rod ends are good, new brakes and rotors, new bearings. I am really out of guesses until I get the poly sub frame bushings.

Anyone with any other suggestions I will love to hear

I had a loose transmission rear mount on a TR4A that caused a vibration at those speeds, don't know about a TR8 but might be worth a look.

Todd is right, my name is Scott, but I figure I made the confusing sign on so I need to answer to it esp since I am usually looking for help

Whenever I here the name Pat, I think back to the "Pat" SNL skits. Hard to picture that character in army fatigues. With a name like Todd, I still get remarks about another SNL skit. When that skit was popular, my girlfriend was named Lisa. Boy did we hear a lot of bad jokes. She went on to marry a guy named Peter Griffith and they live RI. I don't know what's worse, being teased about Todd and Lisa Lupner or being married to the dad from Family Guy.

Peter Griffith... that would suck... or at least be a good conversation starter
