First Friday Night Rally Southern California

Tonight, the Santa Monica Sports Car Club is putting on a special event. The usual FFN rallies are pretty difficult. This one is easy and perfect for beginners. There are no "Traps" that will get you lost and the checkpoints are in designated places, so most of the rally is a pleasant cruise. Come out and join us. You can read all about it here: SMSCC.org.

We will finish in Moorepark.

There was a complaint that the web link did not work. I checked it and it works with Chrome, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. However, it may not work with all mobile devices. For my iPhone, I have to go to ffn.smscc.org and you can see information about the monthly First Friday Night rallies. The next one on August 7 will be a Monte Carlo style event. These are REALLY fun!

Also, you can go to nmf.smscc.org and read about a longer (5 hour) rally called "Not My Fault". It will be in the same simple format of last Friday's rally.

Also, it's a really good idea to learn the terms for TSD rallies. You can read them all here: https://generals.smscc.org/ You can also learn about "Follow the Lined Road" and "Onto" instructions. These are the biggest gotchas in the sport. You will not have to worry about gotcha's in the two event listed above. They are made to be easy for new people.
