TR5/TR250 First drive!

Greg,
put them on a couple of weeks ago. Pedal a little long but stops great! Used silicon so going to rebleed after I actsully get to drive it. Spent ALL day aligning hood yesterday. Think I need to undo left front body mount to make it fit straight. Gaps are tight. Is your hood stripe painted or tape? I might try tape/decal.

I painted mine using some Duplicolor rattle can silver with the instructions from Moss, there are lots of compound curves which you could probably get the thin strip around, but the thicker stripe would be a challenge around those sections if done with a decal or tape. It is a bit of fiddly work laying the tape to paint it, but I used that flexible tape you can get a bodyshops in the same thickness that goes between the wide and thin outer stripes, used it on the outer part too, followed by masking tape and paper on the outer part. The hood is not too bad, the tricky part is the front fenders esp. the area that goes out to the wheel arch lip. I have a pdf of the Moss instructions I can send if you need it.
