First Drive Today

I purchased my MGA in 2004 as a trailer load of parts. Body off frame and no idea as to condition of mechanics. The good part was I got a LOT of new parts in the deal. Today, seven years later, I drove it around the yard for the first time. There was a period of about 3 years where I didnt touch it but now I am ready to finish it. In the 3 year hiatus I have misplaced/lost a brand new conv top. I think it got thrown out as trash in a garage cleaning. Still have some issues to work out such as run on after turning the key off. Any suggestions? It will be on the road this summer!!!

Woohoo! Nothing like that first drive after years of work. What a feeling!

We need pictures, of course.

You have proven me wrong.
I always tell my bride, if I buy a car and push it in, then when I sell it, I will be pushing it out. My theory is no matter how bad it runs when I buy them, as long as I get to hear that motor start up, then that is half the battle/
This is a milestone in your cars history!
Yeah baby!!!
