First and prob only badge

I got my grille badge yesterday also. But it's too cold to attach it now. By the way, how did you attach yours so it doesn't damage the chrome? Plastic washers? Thank you.

I got mine yesterday as well, have it sitting on my desk as of right now. Did you shorten the mounting studs at all before mounting?

No I did not. Never know when they just might be needed. Did use a quarter size peice of old intertube between the badge and the grille.

Many years ago, like 40 I stoped along the interstate and picked up a peice of truck intertube. Been useing small chunks of it ever since to make washers and gaskets and such. Pleanty left, think I have a lifetime supply.

I got mine a bit ago. Not the grille badge, but the trunk arrow. Too bad the car isn't painted yet.

Jack, IMHO you would be WAY better of with some plastic (clear ) flat washers on <span style="font-size: 14pt"><span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="font-weight: bold"> <span style="color: #990000">BOTH</span></span></span> </span> sides, I repeat <span style="color: #009900"><span style="font-size: 14pt"><span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="font-weight: bold">BOTH</span></span></span> </span> sides of the grille!!! :hammer:
