Fire extinguisher

So I was out for a drive a few weeks ago and had a scary thing happen.
running down the hiway at speed and all of a sudden I smell raw gas.
pulled over and see that there is gas pouring from the over flow of the rear carburetor
kind a scary moment with the header at temp and gas poring over it
had the issue fixed in a few minutes but the visual of the car in flames lingered .
so I found the answer to having an extinguisher that is small doesn’t leak doesn’t take up a bunch of room and could be placed in a location that is easy to get to in a panic
can you see it?

I saw those on Leno's YouTube show and I admit I was intrigued. If they are effective it looks like a nice way to have something small and easy to reach that would still be effective.

I hope you never have reason to try it.

Yes, great idea much better than the bottle I used to have bolted behind the passenger seat
Slight change of subject , what color red did you use. I love the shade. Paint next spring working on color thought now.

Yea me too scared the crap out of me feel better knowing it’s there.
when I pulled the bowl and the fuel filter al was perfect clean so not sure what caused never happened before or since and never again I hope.
Paint was driving by a dodge dealer and they had a new little Dakota on the lot sharp color .
so yea 1996 dodge poppy red.
in single stage no clear.coat.

I keep a fairly large extinguisher bottle in the trunk of my Sprite. I keep smaller fire bottles in my regular cars, too. Sometimes it comes in handy, and not necessarily for your car.

What’s cool with this thing is it fits in the glove box have one in the Escape
same size as small umbrella.
order another for the elco
