I've finished off a few parts for the TD. I may pull the engine to clean it up & detail the engine bay. Some of you may scoff at the aluminum paint on the manifold but I just can't layout for the jet hot yet. This was primed with high heat primer & painted with high heat paint as well. Will work for a short time I hope.

Pretty - you don't need to put them on your old TD...send 'em to me & I'll use them on mine...hehehehe

Looking great.

I used a similar paint on my MGB manifold. It looked great for a few thousand miles but went downhill from there. You can always recoat once per yer, it isn't that hard to remove the piece.

Didn't want to leave the intake aluminum?

Very pretty - I did those peices awhile back for the TC ,still sitting on my shelf now. I went with jethot for the exhaust manifold, but painted the intake like you did in the original muddy maroon. I paited the exhaust manifold on my MGA with heat treat paint about 30 years ago and it's still on there today, only it's seen much better days.
