I got my TR6 back from the upholstery shop and am I glad I didn't attempt to do this myself. I would have screwed it up royally!. No more roll bar brackets or bolts. Eddie even matched the brown leather trim on the TRF carpet kit to seam these tubes in properly. Hopefully, that will be the last time that it ever comes out as long as I own it.

Eddie does great work. I saw a 58 T-Bird come in one day with no top and no upholstery in the interior. I was painted 2 weeks before, but no buffing had been done yet.

I went back in two weeks and the car had a beautiful green and white interior that matched the original seats and trim perfectly. The top was a perfect match to the interior. Eddie makes everything from scratch as he goes.

I had the back piece of carpet from the TRF kit and the padding. So he looked at, measured a few things, scratched his head and said I'll see you tomorrow morning. I learned long ago, never ask how long it will take. True craftsmen don't like pressure and the line to get into his shop is a mile long. I'm lucky that I live in the neighborhood and he knows me or I'd be waiting until spring. Eddie is a character, but he is really good at his trade.

What you really meant to say was, "It's good to own a few British cars in your life. It will build character"
