Wow, I'm not sure I even want to be in the same parking lot with you. That is so fine.

Gotta love fresh paint! I can't wait to see it in sunlight.

But go ahead and drop a wrench on it! LOL! You know you're gonna do it anyway, so might as well get it over with.

Jack, I'll take more photos after its buffed...I had Jerri stand 6 feet away from it this morning & you could see her clearly in the rear quarter!

It has about 6 coats of Tartan Red on it - wet sanded between most of them...then has 3 or 4 coats of clear - wet sanded between each of them.....been way too long getting to this point!

& I still don't think its perfect! I'm very happy but don't know if all that extra effort was worth the wait!

&, John, they don't want it out in the sun until its buffed & waxed....tomorrow when they bring it home, I'll try to take photos of it on the dolly & trailer before we move it into the GarageMahal onto jack stands.

Down here in Johannesburg

It is with regret I resign from this site, you guys just don't play fair )

That is a serious paint job, are you sure you want to put an engine and wheels on that paint job? My odd rust spot hidden away is making me feel guilty, I think I'll just talk to those people on this site who drive their cars )

Awesome, can't wait to see the progress.

Nice, Tony, very nice.

Oh, Mark - we'll drive this one, guaranteed!!

My Midget is such a shed. I don't mind parking next to you, people can sit on my fenders whilst admiring yours!
That's a seriously sexy Midget you'll have there Tony.

Awesome! I hope mine looks a third as good as that.

It's VERY red.

NO!! It is Tartan Red!

Just think how nice that is going to be with a bit of chrome to set it off.

Tony,
Thats the same color I want my 63. Is it the color for that year or are you breaking away from tradition.
I'll have an order for an engine rebuild as soon as I hear from the machine shop.
I want to see more as you go.
