Finally Got The Front Wings On

Awile back I asked in this thread about installing the front beading when putting the wings and nose on.

Well, I followed <span style="font-weight: bold">Russ Austin's</span> great little trick of pop riveting on the tabs to the wing. In fact, it isn't a little trick, <span style="font-weight: bold">it's pure genius!</span>

If you don't bolt the fender (wing) down along the inner fender, they will spread apart way more then enough to get the nose on and off. I haven't put the nose (OK, apron) on yet, but I know that I can surely handle this alone.

Thank you Russ...you saved me alot of grief and aggravation. This is the best way I've seen to do this. :thumbsup: :cheers:

And great idea Russ! I always wondered how guys used to make those stay in place during assembly.
