Well, DSL finally came available to us here. So I searched for TR4 videos and found a group of very cool TR4 race videos.

Check out Movie#1 (11 minute run) at this site https://www.marx-softwaredevelop.de/Triumph.html

Set to full screen with sound on. This guy can really drive! Watch the key fob go sideways in the twisties and if you pay close attention, you see him work the overdrive on the stalk.

Now just make sure that you stay in the racing videos, not the racy videos..............

kinda in slomo but a couple things I noticed: he doesn't let the tach go below the rpm that you don't go above when shifting, and your hands move around alot more than his. Maybe you need to go faster?! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

<grin>

I bet he didn't have his 6-year old daughter in the front seat with him!

Peter, the web site belongs to a guy named Christian Marx, an engineer by profession, who is active in the German vintage racing community and on a couple of the other forums.
I think the driver in the video is someone else; interesting how the track is dry at the start and wet further on, just as they always mention, the weather patterns in the mountains are unpredictable.
Simon.
