Finally - BJ7 painted

Finally, after lots of agonizing about getting the right shade of Colorado Red, the BJ7 is in paint. We ended up using Dupont base/clear coat. HealeyNut provided the paint code; thank you again.

Most of the buffing is done. Thanks to the help of a pro, the body is straight, and panel gaps are good. Lots of work left to install the trim and the interior; that may wait until next winter. But it feels good to get it to this point.

Now to get the BN4 into paint, hopefully this summer as well. Body work and panel fitting on the BN4 continues.

Thanks guys. This is a small car. But as many of you experienced restorers likely know, it can take hundreds of hours to fit body panels and paint a Healey. As the fellow who did the final body work said, there is hardly a flat surface on a Healey - lots of compound curves to deal with.
