It has been too long since I did any work on my EType, but now I am finally back to it! I have made a commitment that as long as I am home, I am going to do something every day on my EType. Over the past few years I have gotten the car bead stripped and re-painted in original Silver-Blue and I have both the front suspension and the rear IRS rebuilt and detailed. I also have all the new wiring installed. That's where itβs been for quite some time.
Now, after sitting for several months, I am finally back to work on it! So farm I have cleaned, re-greased and installed the hand brake cable, and send of some chrome bits to be re-chromed. I also have sent the brake vacuum servo and a few other bits to be plated. Lat night I tore apart the heater motor to clean and detail it before I re-install in the heater box (which has been powder coated gloss black). I'll post some pictures maybe this week end. I plan to do something - even if itβs small - every day from now on! I'm tired of looking at it in my garage! It's time to get it back on the road!
