Well, it's ready to go. Discovered a couple of interesting things.

1. Not original alternator - found this out when fan belt didn't fit.

2. Spark Plugs - old ones are in for now - of 4 plugs, there were 3 brands Bosch, NGK & Champion, go figure

thanks again for all advice & help

That looks amazing!

Is that the correct orientation for the oil filter adapter thingy? If so, mine is on upside down...

Congrats JP!

Nope - wrong configuration - will move today - thanks for catching it - teach me to not use my own refence pics!

thanks
JP

Now if it just runs as good as it looks.

Nice job.

Hey JP

That's going to look really sweet. What's the rest of the car look like?

Work on the Abarth,Sprite,Healey is going very slow spending way to much time on the computer.

At this point, pretty much all else is done or close - the body needs work & paint - no rust to speak of though just some dents and then conversion to chrome bumper, split bumpers on the back and likely a slat grille. Interior will stay black but am looking for a flecked grey carpet like one I saw in Original Sprite & Midget - plan to have the side signals filled and use B/E signals for the front, cue ball shifter hopefully a badge bar.

this what she looks like now

this when I got her

and this what motivated the chrome bumper swap

(and what took her off the road in the early 90's)

BTW - do call if you still need some extra hands
