Hi folks - I've owned my 76B for all of three weeks (!), and discovered an interesting problem when I tank up at gas stations.
The station gas pump triggers itself "off" nearly as soon as it begins filling my tank. I'm assuming it's because of the automatic shutoff detecting back pressure from the sharp bend in the B's filler pipe as it passes through the boot area.
Anyone else have this problem? How do you guys fill the tank w/o constantly resetting the handle of the pump hose? I can fill up by just barely holding the hose handle back, filling very slowly, but wondered if there's a better way.
Thanks.
Tom
