Fifteen miles at eight degrees equals...

Got home from work this afternoon and thought I'd just take a peek under the hood to see if anything was frozen. It was a fifteen mile drive. It is currently eight degrees and snowing.
This is the front carb on my Morris. (I know it isn't an MG, but it's close) Right behind the "warm" radiator. That is a nce thick coat of frost covering it. Thought folks in warmer areas might enjoy this.

Seriously, good idea Tony.
You guys got us beat! And I thought it was cold here. It's been hovering in the mid-20s for several days.

Just walked in the door. Drove Emma for my mental health evening. (dinner at the Vietnamese restaurant, then a 90 minute massage & a pedicure) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Thread made me want to run out and pop the hood. Everything is toasty under there! But it's only 20 here right now and if nothing else, I have a heckaheater and a warm bonnet!

Down to 10 degrees here tonight.

BRRRRR!

B bBBbbb bbburrrrr.... I am *SUCH* a wimp! Went to an outdoor Christmas Party last eve, layer'd up: thermal 'longjohns,' suit/tie, sweater vest, hat... it didn't get below 50F and I STILL felt cold. A winter 'back home' (Pgh, PA) would likely ~kill~ me at tihis point. gad.

My word, only 40 here and feels like 0. Old bones.

30 degrees in Dallas today. But, its suppose to cool off a bit tomorrow and Friday. The predicted ICE STORM missed us, so work and school went on as scheduled. It was almost 90 last Saturday.

Just had our Corperate party at Dland last night... must have been in the 50's ... didn't see a single person running around in shorts-n-t-shirt all night... most were like me, sporting a jacket... heh

Got up this morning at 5:30 for the daily run, was putting on my outerwear when I looked at the thermometer.....-2 F....off came the outerwear. I can run some day when the mercury cracks into the positives. Lest you think I'm a wimp, I did run earlier this week when it was 5 F.

Hey Doc,

It is 20 degrees here now and we are supposed to get 3-5 inches of snow tonight...bring your longjohns when you come! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

All the way up to 14 F this morning, so I was back on the road.

Nice enough during the day - getting into the upper 60s & lower 70s here in Poway. But at night it gets pretty cold, hovering around freezing and saw 33F last night.

Guess I shouldn’t complain right now because for Christmas – we’re going back to visit with the wife’s family just outside of Pittsburgh PA. The weather forecasts look down right cold!

The only good thing is the girls get to see some snow I guess.

Drove over the mountains through Smokey Mountains National Park today - brrrrr! No snow but the antenna on my truck looks like a big icicle!

Hey Dude...come on over! It is 22 degrees and snowing hard right now in PA...6 inches so far and expecting another couple inches...might be enough to last until the Holidays, if you are lucky! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/savewave.gif

I hope the kids enjoy it at least!

Nuh-uh! I won't even consider settin' foot across the FL/GA border 'til March! We're Miami-bound (FURTHER south) fer Santa day. May even be able to drive the MG, hopefully "top down!" I'll cut the in-laws grass fer 'em. In a T-shirt, shorts an' flip-flops, thankewverrymuch.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif With all this coldness going around, you guys are getting snow... we got sprinkled on sometime last night or in the wee early morning hours. I'm not sure when exactly it happened, but I know we had "threatening" clouds all day yesturday, and had some drops of water on the roof of my B this morning... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Not sure which is worse, it got up to 105 here during the week, and summer has just started!
