fiber board panel between boot and interior

Mice got in and chewed this panel while the project sat neglected. It and a small part of the new carpet adjacent to the hole is the only damage the new interior has. I am sure I can repair the carpet but I would like to replace the panel.

My question is this, does anyone know where I can get just this one panel?

I would remove it, use it as a template and cut out a new one using maybe 3/16 or 1/4 then cover with vinyl.
 
That's what I did, although I had to make my own template. I used some thin ply, covered with vinyl (I put some batting under it for that plush effect as the plush, overstuffed, luxury theme is inherent to Spridgets......not).
I used ply so it had some strength to hold some speakers..
 
I did the same. Plywood better than stock fiberboard. I covered with vinyl on both sides so I have a luxurious trunk as well. The 6 x 9"'s mount well back there.
 
I am replacing all the panels in my Sprite. I got the new panel material from our local upholsterer. The board is the same thickness as the original fiberboard, but it is more of the consistancy of "artboard" or a product called "Foamboard" but more rigid. A full board measures 39" X 60". I wish I could tell you the name of the stuff but I can't remember and I can't put my finger on the reciept. I believe it was about $20/sheet. I'll call these folks tomorrow and get some more info and get back with you. I'm not sure of the pros and cons of using thin plywood. Although it was very easy to work with, and great stuff to use for the complete interior, if I was only doing the one panel, I may have gone with thin plywood. Just wanted to give you another option to think about.

Oh, and get you a garage cat to keep the mice out.

1/8" masonite or tempered hard board. About $8 for a 4x8 sheet at home cheapo (brown stuff like peg board without the holes. Watch out going to 1/4", it's too thick for where the window winders go.

For the back panel, make it out of 2 pieces, use a quality duct tape as a hinge where the fold is, cover like the rest of the panels.
 
Thanks for the ideas! I will check out those materials mentioned and pick one. This will probably be my first project after we get back from a short vacation The end of this coming week and into the first few days of the following week. Now I don't have a business to worry about we can finally get away for a few days, first time in years.

I have begun taking the front suspension apart for inspection. So this panel will be a nice diversion while figuring out what I need and waiting for parts and paint to dry.
 
The ply I got had a nice oak veneer because I thought about not covering in vinyl but just finishing the oak (my dash is wood) but I thought it was too busy so black vinyl in the end. One 4x8 is enough for probably 6 of them. I had plans to screw it to some existing holes but it was such a tight press fit I never secured it. Thought about making a "door" for access to the trunk but there really wasn't room.

I think the material you may be thinking of is known in the marine industry as Starboard, and a commercial name for it in the sign industry is Sintra. It is a PVC-based board, quite impervious to moisture (though thinner sheets will buckle a bit with extreme heat)..IMHO an excellent material for this application!! It also comes in colors!
