Now that Hamilton has lost his appeal (no surprizes, right?) The business model for the FIA has become clearer.....

Well, all I can say is that it's a darn shame that these races can't be decided on the track. Lewis has four more races this year to stuff it to the FIA and the red cars. Never before have I ever wanted anyone to win the championship more then I do now. He blew it last year with a couple of bone-headed moves, but this year they're just looking for some way to take it away from him. He's got to keep a cool head, play their stupid game, a go like the hammers. I just hope that the crew doesn't make any more bad decisions like they did in Monza by putting him on wet tires when intermediates were called for. That cost Lewis some points. This is turning into an interesting season for F1.

Even though I am a confirmed Ferrari Fan (watched schumi win at Imola, watched him set one of several lap records at Fiorano while making the trip to Mecca er... I mean Maranello etc... etc...) I still don't like the outcome of this ruling. Very unfair to the young talent of Hamilton. With apologies to the movie... On any given Sunday you can win or lose, to have your win taken away by committee after obeying the rules is just not right.
 
What I am miffed at is that Kimi went off the track before the end of the race anyway and did not finish so Hamilton would have won regardless.
