FHC and 2+2

I'm sure that one of these books around here has the answer but, maybe someone has the answer in his head!

In what year and series did the 2+2 become available? And, was there ever a year and series in which both the FHC and the 2+2 were available at the same time?

Yesterday, I led the Shenandoah Valley British Car Club on a drive up the Skyline Drive. It was spectacular! This subject came up as we stopped for lunch at Brown Mountain Overlook where there was a greater than 180 degree panorama!

I am fairly certain that the 2+2 was introduced in 1966. And, yes, the coupe was available then as well.

I agree with 1966 being the first year for the 2+2 E Type, my brother-in-law has one and its a stunning beauty, pale primrose yellow just like my ' 68 OTS, so that year, 1966 would have FHC / OTS & 2+2s.
