Fender Question

Is there any difference between a fender for my 65 and a fender before the rubber bumper 72s other than the side marker light? My question is can I put a fender on my car from 68 to 71 and just have to fill in the light receptacle hole.

Mark, after car number HAN9-77592, GAN4-66226, (Dec. '68) the parking lamps are lower than previous cars. Other than that, and the side marker lamp, any fender up through '74 will fit. The rubber bumper cars didn't come until 1975. If you want a good match, stick with '68 or older, or change them both. I don't know if the later fenders have the bracket for the bonnet prop, though.
