I have a 65MGB which came stock with no fuel filter. I want to put a rubber 5/16 ID hose to the fuel line which comes with a 1/2-20 male end. Anyone know where I can get a female 1/2-20 to 5/16" barb???

If the male end is the OEM fitting, it is a 1/4 British Standard Pipe compression fitting. I may have some of these fittings with a barb end on them. E-mail me at SUfuelpumps@donobi.net and I'll see what I have or send you information on how to make up a fitting that will work.
Cheers,

If the line is in fact 1/2 -20, then the fitting should be availible from a good hardware store, Advance Auto, Autozone, etc.

I thought it was a 1/2-20 but Dave says it is a BSP compression fitting. I am pretty sure it is stock.

Dave, I took my Moss metal mesh hose down to Ace hardware and it fit a 1/2-20 male thread. Close but not the right thread.
