Has a tub that was on eBay did not make reserve, shrug, in fact no bids at $200.

I have offered him $50 for the 1275 engine as is where is and I pick up. We will see.

People who part cars out usually end up with lots of parts sitting all over their garage....though there is money to be made in parts, there's also a long delay in selling them & some items just never sell......if he's smart & he's had that engine & tub for a long time, he'll take you up on your offer.

But, Jack, an extra Bugete tub.......think about it.

Tis not a bugeye, is junk.

Jack,
I am speaking with the same guy...he's in AL and the parts are in FL with his brother. I asked if something/someone was around to load the tub, like a forklift! I guess 4 guys could load...but man.. kinda awkward

How far away are you from the car?

I was mainly interested in the hood, the differential and other assorted odds and ends. I couldn't tell what condition the sheet metal is in from his pictures.

He just answered my ebay question..saying that he was going to re-list, but not until he heard from me. I asked how long after payment he would require it be removed..hes now asking how long I need...

My main problem is after the hood, rear end..not sure that I want the tub at all. It is a RWA..so if it's in good shape, someone would be interested.
I have no place to store a tub.. Guess I better just pass!

You guys should get together on your offer!

On a rusty old tub like that, you might be better off just cutting the rear RWA quarters to keep & leaving everything else on the corner for the trash guys to pick up!

...and maybe the rear valence for someone doing a chrome bumper conversion.

I can help you load. 50 bucks for the engine. About an hour away.

I've thought about doing exactly that previously...take my sawzall, a grinder with a cutting wheel and some tools:
1.strip all good metal off, load in truck
2. same with parts
Haul rest to the nearest scrap yard - BE DONE WITH IT!

I'm not sure the tub isn't worth saving though..it was very tough to tell from the pics.

I'm headed out of the country for 2 wks starting 7 Apr..I don't think I can fit a trip to FL in before then.

I'll tell him I can't do it Jack,..so maybe he'll sell you the motor.
If you head up there, do me a favor and poke around and see if the hood is any good and what general shape the body is in..if you don't mind.

Thanks - Devin

Will do if I get so lucky.
