I installed it on my Linux computer, quite a large program, had to use a double-layer disc to burn it on, and tried it out. A very nice-looking program. Some bugs in the version I downloaded as it refuses to recognize a USB flash drive for one. Have to wait for an upgraded de-bugged version I guess. :unsure:
 
Just browsing Tom, but it's faster than Windows with almost zero wait time. I'm still trying to upgrade from Mint to a program that's as friendly as it is. I really like the new Fedora but for now, it seems to have a few issues. Of course, the issue could be me! :devilgrin:

Thanks for the heads-up, Paul. I have to take a good look at Fedora soon. The support stream for the CentOS versions will be ended in a year or so. I've put earlier Fedora versions (workstation & laptops) together. It's likely Fedora would run the warez we've used for server duty, it's just that configuring it gets boring now.

The redhat open source flavors have been a lot faster than the Win stuff from the beginning. Very likely any hardware not initially recognized with Fedora 39 will get sorted quickly.

There's an i7 build in the planning, looking at mainboards now.
 
This Notebook I'm on now has an i5 core. If Fedora goes to i7 will it run on this computer?
