Would love to see Sue get her own show. That would be funny.
Richard Rawlings is kind of an acquired taste. When I first watched some of the episodes, he came off like a butthole. He seems a bit more of a sympathetic character as of late. Personally, I think Danny "The Count" Koker comes off more genuine in "Counting Cars".
I haven't decided if these shows are good or bad. On the one hand, they do shed focus on the vintage car world. On the other hand, they make it seem like a basket case can be turned into a show winner instantaneously, with the requisite scripted drama thrown in just to make the show interesting. That's far from reality where some projects may take months or even years to complete.
It's also given birth to a whole group of "wannabe" flippers. I've had the "Counting Cars effect" happen to me once where someone pulled up and asked if I was interested in selling the car. I laughed. It seemed to be the only reaction that made sense to me.
