When I did my renovation on the BE this last winter, I replaced the wiring harness. By the time I decided to do this, things were coming together and the fan switch didn't work, but it was warming up and I made the decision that I could put that off til cold weather. It is starting to get chilly in KC. The switch in a bugeye is a part of the pull to the air for the heater and when you pull it apart there is a small ball bearing that functions as a stop for the fan position of the switch. Don't know if I ever had one, but the local hardware store has a nice selection of them. The one I first bought, looked just right, but when the switch was together it was big enough that it didn't allow for the stop on the cable to rotate so the switch could function. Anyway, a smaller ball bearing should fix things and hopefully everything goes back together, if I don't lose the ball bearing tonight. Aren't these cars fun.
